Hello World

So if you're reading this you might not be to sure what this blog is about.   I mean whats up with a title like "The City Orchard"?  Well I will get to that in a moment but first I have created this blog to practice my writing skills, and to find out people's response to what I write.  So this can be seen as my experiment.  There is no topic I am going to cover but instead it is going to be a location.  The City Orchard is what I call the place that happens to be my home.  It is not a real orchard but there are a lot of trees so that is where the orchard part comes from.  The city part comes from the fact that my house is on a hill that looks over my home city.  So now you know the meaning behind the name.  As to what I will be writing, they will only be short little snip-its of what happens around here with three cats, a heard of deer, a raccoon or two, stray dogs that wander in, and other animals.  All of it will be loosely based on reality but do not be surprised if animals start talking because it is only loosely based on reality.  And now to rap up this introduction that has been poorly written, I hope you enjoy what I write and comments made to correct my mistakes are always welcome because I know my grammar is horrible.
